What is the Rosé Grand Tasting @Thessaloniki?
Wine Plus, in response to the established and growing need for consumers and professionals to be informed about all the developments in the world of rosé wines, is holding a parallel event to the Map of Flavours, exclusively dedicated to rosé wines. The 5th Rosé Grand Tasting @Thessaloniki is taking place on Monday May 20th, 2024, at the Hotel Makedonia Palace.

What are the hours of operations?
This year, there will be three sessions: 14:00 – 16:30, 17:00 – 19:30 and 20:00 – 22:30
In the interim period, the venue will be emptied.

What will you taste at the 4th Rosé Grand Tasting @Thessaloniki?
The rosé wines of the 2023 vintage will be gathered together in one venue and you will have the unique opportunity to taste them.
From faint pink, to salmon and rose-like, rosé wines of different colour, aroma and flavour tones, from every viticultural zone of Greece and some from abroad, will be waiting for you, neatly assorted based on their varietal composition.
Amongst them, one will be able to find the representatives of the main rosé origin designations, geographical indications and varietals, plenty of new releases and significant labels of the international vineyard.

What is the admission policy of the event for the consumers / oenophiles?
Entrance fee is 8€ for each time session  (Students: 6€ ).
You can buy your ticket(s) through the more.com by Viva.gr. (since 22.04.2024)
You can also buy your ticket(s) at the event entrance.


What is the admission policy for wine and gastronomy professionals?
For wine and gastronomy professionals (Horeca, bars, wine bars), admission is free in sessions: 14:00 – 16:30 and 17:00 – 19:30 upon display of their business card at the event entrance.
It is advisable that anyone with a professional relationship to wine wishing to attend the tasting should make a reservation in order to avoid waiting periods at the entrance. (since 22.04.2024)

Persons under the age of 18 are not allowed, unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

What about the photographic coverage of the event?
Photographic and video coverage of the 5th Rosé Grand Tasting @Thessaloniki has been arranged by a professional photographer.  Due to the public character of the event, photos and videos will be used for promoting the event to the Media, printed and social.
Upon entering the event, visitors give their consent to the possibility of their appearing on photographs or videos which will be published.

Are pets allowed?
We love animals very much and we believe that a large wine event is not a place where they'll feel comfortable.
So, they are not allowed to enter.
